The Alaska Board of Public Accountancy requires CPAs to complete regular continuing professional education (CPE) to maintain an active license and stay current in the accounting field.
Total Hours Required
- 80 hours every 2 years
Ethics Requirement
- 4 hours of ethics per reporting period
Reporting Period
- Every 2 years, ending December 31 of even-numbered years
